The American Association of University Women would like to invite the public to a Brunch Scholarship Fundraiser to be held November 3, from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at Pacific Restaurant, 205 Main Street in Tillamook. Tickets will be sold at the door and are $45 for ages 13 and up; $20 for children 5-12; age four and under are free. Each ticket comes with two free mimosas, sparkling wine, or Bloody Mary’s for those 21 and older. Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet full of tasty treats both hearty and light from pastries, and eggs to biscuits and gravy while helping to support a good cause. There will be something for everyone to enjoy including music and a silent auction full of unique items.
Event proceeds will go toward AAUW university scholarships to support local students to complete a college education. In 2024, AAUW awarded $6,000 in support to students who elected to continue toward a four-year degree program focused on science, technology, engineering or math. They also have an endowed scholarship at Tillamook Bay Community College that supports students seeking workforce training and two-year degrees including the new nursing program.
