What: Jerry Sutherland, Author, Bayocean: Atlantis of Oregon
When: Saturday, August 12th 2-3pm
Where: Tillamook County Library, 1716 Third Street, Tillamook, OR
Why: Bayocean Peninsula forms the western edge of Tillamook Bay on Oregon’s northern coastline. Many recreate there, enjoying its pristine, natural environment. But it once hosted a thriving, upscale resort town—of which only the name remains. Jerry’s presentation will provide a look back at the dramatic story of Bayocean.
