For a long time now there has been a resource missing from Garibaldi and northcounty in terms of printing, shipping, notarization, and an array of other services. Longtime community member, and former Neah-Kah-Nie High School Speech and Debate coach, Charles Miska has taken on the task of filling the hole that our community has had.
Charles Miska had previous business experience doing escrow signings; he would travel to Seaside to perform this task. This is just one of many examples in the gaps in services needed to be filled in our community that led him to opening this new company.
In Garibaldi right off of Highway 101, you can find Beach Beagle Print and Ship, a space dedicated to providing services to the county that were difficult to find before. The company has been in the works for almost two years now as Charles Miska and his wife Lisa Miska have looked for a space. When their current space finally opened up, they knew this was the chance they had been waiting for. They quickly got to work setting up this new vibrant brand that offers so many services.
The Beach Beagle, cleverly named after the Miska’s pet dog Hendrix, is a company that can do just about anything in the realm of printing and shipping alongside many other services. These include, but are not limited to: publishing, notarization, art supplies, graphic design, and they can take your passport photo.
“We are listening to the community, and they told us that there was a need for some art supplies,” explained Miska. “So the Beach Beagle has made it a priority to have those supplies available.” They sell paint, pens, markers, an assortment of different papers, and so much more for an artist in the area.
In terms of the shipping capabilities, you can ship it all here and the Beach Beagle also offers postal box rentals to people who do not qualify for the Garibaldi Post Office. This includes second home-owners and others who reside in Garibaldi’s RV Parks.
The printing capabilities of the company are limitless as they can design your entire graphic you would like printed and put that on an array of products such as banners, signs, business cards, brochures, invitations, and any variation of printed paper products.
The company has gotten off to a good start working in the community as it has already partnered with Tillamook Bay Community College, the Rockaway Roastery, and several canneries and charters around the area. “Catering to the community is our goal at Beach Beagle,” says Charles. “And we want to help out wherever we can.” Don’t see it? Just ask!
Stop in sometime and check out what the Beach Beagle can do for you. Inside you will meet the team consisting of Deb Jamieson, Hannah Hood, and Jacob Merwin, alongside owners Charles and Lisa Miska. Everyone there is incredibly helpful and excited to help this community. For more information on the business you can visit Beach Beagle Print and Ship.
