Hey there North Tillamook County friends who use Recology for garbage service…. did you know that Recology offers curbside recycling in Clatsop County? I am going out on a limb here and realize this may be unpopular by some, considering Cartm just closed down, but I for one, am ready for curbside recycling! If you are of the same mind, it is up to us to act. I spoke with Recology and from what I understand, if you live within the city limits of Manzanita, Nehalem or Wheeler, contact your city council or if you live in the unincorporated county area, contact the Tillamook County Commissioners to request curbside recycling. Recology cannot do it without either the city or county commissioners requesting a fee structure to provide curbside recycling. Again, this is my understanding.
