Do you have an idea for the next great business in Tillamook County? Is your current business ready to launch a new product or service? This is your chance to pitch your idea—Shark Tank style—to a panel of judges from the Economic Development Council of Tillamook County’s Level Up Program.
There are limited spaces available for three mini-pitch contests in Pacific City, Tillamook, and Manzanita throughout September and October.
In 2023, the Level Up Tillamook program was launched with the support of a grant from the Ford Family Foundation to foster a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. This initiative aims to strengthen existing small businesses and support the creation of new ones. Last year’s Pitch Contests drew dozens of participants, with Country Squire Acres, Brittney Bakes, and Sea Freeze Snacks taking home top honors.
What’s a Mini-Pitch?
A Mini-Pitch is a fast-paced, elevator-style pitch competition. Participants have up to three minutes to introduce their business or idea to a panel of judges. These qualifying rounds lead to the Second Annual Tillamook Pitch Finale on November 15, 2024, where the top prize is $10,000. The competition is open to small business owners looking to launch a new product or service, as well as aspiring entrepreneurs starting fresh in Tillamook County.
Beyond pitching, we invite the community to attend, cheer for their favorite entrepreneurs and network with other businesses in Tillamook County. A well-crafted elevator pitch can open doors to success for future ventures.
