CARE Announces Winter Warming Shelter to Open Sun. Dec. 17th at St. Alban’s Church; Donations Needed

The Tillamook Winter Shelter will be open nightly five nights a week Sunday-Thursday 5:00 pm-8:30am starting Sunday December 17, 2023. The center will be hosted a St Alban’s Episcopal Church 2102 6th St, Tillamook. Hours of operation are 5:00 pm to 8:30 am. Please share with anyone you know that could benefit from a safe place to stay.

Warming Center Donations Needed!
We are pleased to share that Our Winter Shelter will be open five nights a week this season, Sunday through Thursday nights 5:00 pm- 8:30 am starting 12/17/23. Because we will be open regularly regardless of the weather we are needing to stock up on supplies for our guests quite a bit more than we have in previous years.
We are needing donations of single serve snacks and “just add hot water” items such as: tea, coffee, noodle cups, & instant oatmeal, as well as: sugar packets, bottled water, juices, crackers, fruit pouches, juice packs, protein bars, cookies, socks, hats, jackets, and hand warmers. Please drop off your donations at CARE 2310 First Street Suite 2 in Tillamook. We are located East of the Post Office. Thank you in advance for your generosity!!!
