Community Conversation Event to Foster Love and Support in North County

In an inspiring initiative to strengthen community bonds and enhance support systems, “LOVE YOUR COMMUNITY – HUGGS: Helping Us Give/Get Support” is set to take place in the heart of North County. Scheduled for Tuesday, February 27th, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, this event aims to open a dialogue among community members about fostering love, ensuring safety, and bolstering support within the neighborhood.

Hosted at Rising Hearts Studio, located in downtown Nehalem at 35840 7th Street along Highway 101, the gathering encourages residents to engage in meaningful conversations. The focus will be on exploring effective ways to show love and care for the community and discussing what steps can be taken to make everyone feel safe and supported.

The event is a collaborative effort by HUGGS (Helping Us Give & Get Support), a community-based initiative committed to highlighting and addressing the vital needs of the residents. HUGGS focuses on bringing to light resources for suicide prevention, mental health support, overdose prevention, and more, aiming to ensure that every community member has the opportunity to live their best life.
