US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 63 – Tillamook Bay offers boater safety class October 21st. Oregon Boaters are required to take a boating safety course and carry a Boater Education Card. This law applies to all boaters who operate a motorboat with over 10 horsepower (hp). Youths must be 12 or older to get a boating education card.
US Coast Guard Auxiliary, FL 63 will be delivering the Oregon State Marine Board Recreational Boating Safety Course Saturday, October 21 at the Garibaldi Fire Station Hall. Class begins at 8am to 3pm. Cost is $10.
Students will receive a certificate of completion which is required to obtain their Oregon Boaters Safety Card.
