EDITOR’S NOTE: Checking the Secretary of State website, there are only 520 votes separating the candidates for House District 16. Many races are still “too close to call.” Therefore, the Pioneer is waiting a day or two to do an election wrap up. Watch for an election summary soon.
Logan Laity Urges Supporters to Remain Patient as Results are Tallied.
[TILLAMOOK] – As of Nov. 9th at 4:30 PM / 1615 PST, preliminary results from the election for the Oregon State House of Representatives, District #32 (North Coast) are too close to call. Election results are still extremely tight, and there remains a significant portion of ballots yet to be tallied in Clatsop, Columbia, and Tillamook Counties.
“Thanks to advance notice and transparency from our election officials, we know that there will be some time before every ballot is counted this year. Our team spoke with voters up to 8 PM on Election Night, and I remain hopeful that our enthusiasm will continue to show as last-minute ballots are tallied.” said Laity.
“I’m grateful to all of my supporters, friends, volunteers, and family who lead a campaign of optimism for our future here on our coast and inland communities. I promise to continue advocating for our home, regardless of the final outcome, and working with our local leaders to find real solutions.” – Logan Laity
Mr. Laity will continue to monitor results joining friends and family. The Laity for Community campaign will share more as it becomes available.
