Help us celebrate Hangar B’s 80th Anniversary. Friends of the Tillamook Air Museum are putting on a party for the 80th anniversary of Hangar B – Let’s party like it’s 1943. See below for a snapshot of events happening on Saturday August 19th! Music, displays special guests – free to the public from 10 am to 5 pm; then a special dinner and auction that evening. Watch for more information to come, and mark your calendar for August 19th to celebrate the iconic Hangar B.
To make the event, extra special, calling all our local artists – let’s see your artwork featuring Hangar B.
The contest is open to everyone 4 years of age and older. There are five age categories and contestants will be placed in the categories that correlate with their age at time of poster submission.
The age categories are as follows:
Pre-k- 2nd grade (Ages 5 – 8 )
3rd -5th grade (Ages 9 – 11)
6th-8th grade (Ages 12 – 13)
9th-12th grade (Ages 14 – 17)
18 and older
There will be one prize winner per category, and each winner will win Save Hangar B branded merchandise.
There will be one overall winner chosen from all entries for a cash prize of $50, Save Hangar B merchandise, and BRAGGING RIGHTS!
Winner(s) to be announced at the Tillamook County Fair Friends of Tillamook Air Museum Booth (August 9 – 12)
Prints will be available for purchase at Hangar B’s 80th Anniversary on August 19, 2023
Deadline for submission is Friday July 14th, 2023 @ 11:59pm
