A chilly morning and a not-so-bad day as we were in between systems again. Tonight we see another cold front pushing in rain and bringing breezy south winds 10-15 gusting to 35, the low tonight near 42.
Tomorrow we have a low pressure trough along the coast but the energy splits with a low moving into British Columbia and on the south end a low develops and moves into southern California. This will leave us with some mainly light rain with winds southerly 5-10, and a high near 50. The system weakens and moves east tomorrow night leaving a slight chance of showers with light northerly winds, the low dropping to near 36, the snow level also dropping to near 2400’.
Saturday now looks partly sunny and dry with northerly winds 4-8, the high near 49. Then more clouds move in Saturday night, lows dropping to near 35.
Sunday we see another trough of low pressure dropping southeastward towards the area that will start increasing the chance of rain for the area by the afternoon with rain likely Sunday night, highs near 51, lows near 41.
Rainy and breezy Monday with the trough moving across, the snow level dropping to near 2300’, the high near 50, then rainy Monday night with the snow level dropping down close to the higher summit levels, still breezy, lows near 35.
Look for scattered showers Tuesday with the snow level now down around 1200’, still breezy, highs near 44, and the low that night near 31 so the snow level could be down around 1000’, maybe lower, then Wednesday should be partly sunny, the snow level lifting to around 1300’, the high near 47.
