Well, Mother Nature gave us a spring-like day today to let us know it may be just around the corner. But that is about it for the next 7 days! We had a high pressure ridge building over us today that brought the mostly sunny and mild day then tonight we see some clouds moving in with the westerly winds dying off, the low near 38.
The ridge pushes off to the east tomorrow as a trough of low pressure develops off the coast that will give us cloudy skies with a chance of rain, winds southerly 5-10, the high near 53, the snow level climbing to near 3900’. The chance of rain increases a little tomorrow night, the winds becoming southerly 8-10 gusting to 20, lows near 43.
Sunday we have a front moving across making us cloudy, rainy, and windy with the winds becoming southwesterly 15-20 gusting to near 35, gusts to 45 possible at the beaches, highs near 50. We transition to scattered showers later Sunday night behind the front, still breezy, lows near 37, the snow level drops to near 2100’.
With an upper level trough still over the area we can expect more scattered showers for the start of next week, with a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms, the breezy winds continue, highs near 49, lows near 36, the snow level drops to near 1800’. Tuesday looks similar, still breezy with scattered showers, minus the thunderstorms, highs near 48, lows near 37.
Wednesday, more showers likely, highs near 50, lows near 38, the same again Thursday, highs near 53, lows near 40, the snow level climbing to near 2500’.
