We had weak high pressure moving over the area today that gave us a little break in the rain but alas, we see another disturbance moving across tonight into tomorrow. So, tonight we see cloudy skies with a chance of showers, the winds diminish and the low drops to near 46.
The pressure does rise tomorrow so we have a weak ridge moving across again but not strong enough to cap the precipitation, so we keep a chance of morning rain as the disturbance moves out but still leaving us with a chance of afternoon showers. Winds tomorrow becoming southerly 4-8, highs near 58, lows near 45.
Sunday, it looks like we have another trough of low pressure approaching the area that gives us more clouds and a chance of showers during the day with showers likely Sunday night as it moves across, winds westerly 5-10, highs near 53, lows near 43.
The models are coming into better agreement that Spring actually makes an appearance next week. Because of the flow, we do have a chance of showers Monday morning then a decent high pressure ridge starts to build in, giving us clearing later in the afternoon and evening, the high near 53. Then with partly cloudy skies developing overnight, allowing for radiational cooling, the low drops to near 36.
Tuesday Spring-like conditions march in with mostly sunny skies, the high climbs to near 61, then partly cloudy skies that night the low only drops to near 42.
Wednesday the ridge continues to build, bring an afternoon high near 64, partly cloudy again that night, lows near 46, and we see the same again on Thursday, including the afternoon high near 64…and…the long rain models suggest Friday will be good also with the chance of showers not returning until the weekend, maybe!
