Welcome to Monday where we have an upper level trough to the southeast over southern California and a high pressure ridge to the northwest building into our area, the end result was skies becoming sunny today with slightly warmer afternoon temperatures. This will also set up a stronger onshore flow for tonight, so we see increasing marine clouds tonight with southwesterly winds 4-8 that diminish later tonight making some patchy fog possible, lows near 51.
Tomorrow starts out cloudy, then we see mostly sunny skies by the afternoon behind a trough that moves across the ridge and pushes in a dry, weak front with breezy northwesterly winds 8-12 gusting to 25, the high only near 63. Tomorrow night continues with the breezy northwesterly winds 8-12 gusting to 25, the low drops to near 47.
With the strong onshore flow still, we continue to see mostly cloudy skies Wednesday as the front continues to the east with those northwesterly winds 8-12 gusting to 20, the high near 62, then the breezy conditions continue Wednesday night, lows near 46.
Thursday, we remain under the northwesterly flow, so we see partly sunny skies, the high near 65, some patchy fog possible Thursday night under mostly cloudy to cloudy skies, the low near 49.
By Friday an upper level trough of low pressure approaches, and this brings in more clouds with a slight chance of showers starting in the afternoon, the high near 64, a better chance of showers for Friday night, lows near 52.
Next weekend is looking mostly cloudy with that chance of showers as that trough moves across, and that chance of showers persist Saturday and Sunday, highs near 60, lows near 47.
