The shower activity slowly decreased today, becoming more widely scattered this evening and will come to an end later tonight as the cold upper level trough of low pressure moves off to the northeast. The winds will also decrease this evening, the low near 47.
For the first day of summer, Wednesday June 21st, we will see improving conditions with mostly sunny skies, winds becoming northwesterly 5-10, the high near 67, then mostly clear skies tomorrow night, still the northerly winds 5-10, lows near 50.
It looks like a low pressure area will form down near or over central California Thursday that would put us under a weak offshore flow, so we expect a sunny and warmer day Thursday with the winds northeasterly 8-12, highs up near 74. Thursday night looks to be partly cloudy, with light winds, lows near 51.
The fair, dry, and mild conditions continue Friday and Saturday with mostly sunny skies, the highs in the mid to upper 60s, then it looks like the marine clouds move in at night so mostly cloudy skies, the lows near 51.
As for next week, it is looking like the slight chance of showers returns later Sunday into Monday, so look for partly sunny days with highs in the mid 60s, mostly cloudy nights, lows in the low 50s.
