The upper level trough that I have mentioned in the previous forecasts, continues to inch towards the coast and now rests just offshore. So, as there has actually been little change in the overall pattern, other than a low pressure area developed to the southwest that drifts southward, we see the marine clouds returning tonight, calm winds, lows near 53.
Tomorrow we should see a stronger onshore push as that low pressure area has dropped southward, resting west of southern California, which leaves us will less clearing, so we stay mostly cloudy with winds becoming westerly 5-10, the afternoon high near 62, the winds diminish tomorrow night, lows near 47.
Saturday, a ridge building off to the northwest which will bring us some mostly sunny skies with some northerly winds 8-12 gusting to 20, the high warming to near 65. We keep the partly cloudy skies Saturday night, lows near 46.
Sunday the warmup continues, another mostly sunny day with the high temperature up near 68, with mostly clear skies that night, lows near 48.
The warmup peaks on Monday as the ridge moves over, so with sunny skies the high near 69, with the ridge east of the area, the marine clouds return Monday night and with the clouds cover, lows drop to near 51.
With the ridge now off to the east as another trough moves in, Tuesday looks partly sunny and 64, Wednesday we see mostly sunny skies again, but the high only near 62. With partly cloudy nighttime skies, lows again dropping to near 47.
