Ooppsss! Mother Nature snuck some precipitation into the area today, in the form of an upper level disturbance that was not picked up very well in previous models. The disturbance moved across today giving measurable rain to some lucky folks in northwest Oregon. There is still a slight chance of rain in Tillamook County until later tonight under the mostly cloudy skies, the winds diminish, lows near 46.
Next, there is a chance of some patchy morning fog tomorrow as high pressure starts to move in which also warms the temperatures and will bring sunny skies by the afternoon, winds becoming northwesterly 10-15 gusting to 25, the high near 65. The patchy fog returns tomorrow night with the diminishing winds, we can also expect the marine clouds to get pushed in, lows near 46.
The patchy fog and clouds burn off Sunday morning leaving mostly sunny skies, winds becoming northwesterly 8-12 gusting to 18, highs up near 67; the winds again diminish overnight allowing the patchy fog to return under partly cloudy skies, the low near 49.
Monday looks to be the warmest with the ridge moving over, the high near 69, back comes the patchy fog that night, still the partly cloudy skies, the low near 51.
Tuesday the ridge weakens as disturbances ride over the top which all help to cool things down some, the afternoon high near 64 Tuesday, the low near 48, and mostly sunny skies Wednesday and Thursday, the high remains near 63, partly cloudy nights, the lows near 46.
