Well, yesterday’s front was a dud, I saw a report of mist and that was about it. The northwesterly flow did manage to push in the marine clouds overnight that did burn back to leave a partly sunny day for many. Now we start seeing a ridge of high pressure building over the region that will bring fair, dry, and warming temperatures through Friday.
So, tonight we see mostly clear skies, some patchy fog is possible around midnight with calm winds, the low drops to near 51.
The ridge continues to build tomorrow, bringing sunny skies after the fog clears, winds becoming northerly 8-12, the high climbs to near 78. We see clear skies tomorrow night with light winds, lows near 54.
The ridge is weakening a little and drifting east Friday, so we see sunny skies, the winds becoming northwesterly 5-10, the high near 77, then another clear night with light winds, the low around 51.
By the weekend, the pattern starts to change with the ridge moving east of the area as a trough of low pressure tries to push in from the northwest. This brings in a few clouds, but also starts to push the afternoon high temperatures lower. This means Saturday looks sunny but the afternoon high only near 71, and with mostly clear skies Friday night, the low drops to near 49.
Sunday is another mostly sunny day with the high only near 70, but we see more clouds that night as the trough approaches and brings a chance of rain into the area, lows near 52.
There are some minor differences in the models, but it appears we see partly sunny skies with that chance of rain still on Monday as the trough drifts across, the high only near 65, then the rain eases Monday night, the low down near 48.
Tuesday looks mostly sunny again with a slight chance of rain, the high again near 65.
