Yahoo…Friday, and we made it! Happy Flag Day, sorry about the clouds but there is a weak cold front approaching that has increased the onshore flow and is pushing in some clouds along with a chance of showers later this afternoon. Surface winds today becoming southwesterly 5-10, the high near 61. A low pressure area out in the Pacific will help push in a trough of low pressure tonight that enhances the shower threat and gives the area a slight chance of thunderstorms, starting in the early morning hours. The winds die off tonight, lows near 47.
A chance of continued scattered showers tomorrow, still that slight thunderstorm threat, winds becoming southwesterly 5-10 again, highs near 57, the showers become more widely scattered tomorrow night, light winds, lows near 44.
Partly sunny Sunday (Happy Father’s Day!), the low pressure area and trough continue to rotate scattered showers across the area, winds becoming northwesterly 5-10, highs near 59, the shower threat easing Sunday night, lows near 46.
