The weather is still not changing much with that low pressure center still meandering off the Oregon coast. The flow around the low continues to rotate disturbances, and their associated showers, across our area. We had one such disturbance move across earlier this morning bringing more showers, and it looks like another will move across later this evening, then another one tonight. This gives us a forecast of showers again increasing later tonight, with calm winds, the low drops to near 38.
It looks like conditions will improve by sunrise as the upper level trough slowly starts to drift inland, bringing partly sunny daytime skies, there is a chance of some patchy morning fog and still that chance of some showers rotating across, though that chance slowly decreases during the day, still with calm winds, the high near 49. We finally start to dry out tomorrow night, and with partly cloudy skies and calm winds, the patchy early morning fog is again possible, and maybe some morning frost, lows near 34.
Good news, Wednesday looks dry with mostly sunny skies as a high pressure ridge builds in over the area, still those calm winds, highs near 48, back comes the threat of patchy early morning fog under the partly cloudy skies, calm winds, the low drops down to a cold 30 degrees.
The Thanksgiving Day forecast appears to be a good one, look for mostly sunny skies after the patchy fog clears, with the high near 46, and another partly cloudy night that could again see patchy early morning fog, the low still near 30.
Friday should be another mostly sunny and dry day after any morning fog clears, the high near 46, another partly cloudy night, lows again near 30.
As for the weekend, there is a chance the ridge could drift further west into the Pacific and this would spell more clouds for Saturday with a slight chance of showers for Sunday, but as is the case sometimes, not all the models agree, so there is also a chance the sunny dry skies will continue.
