Free workshops, sponsored by Tillamook Creamery and Tillamook Coast Visitors Association, hosted by Pelican Brewing
(PACIFIC CITY, Ore.) — Tillamook County, known for its innovative and industrious community, boasts the highest rate of self-employed entrepreneurs in Oregon. For residents with a business idea, the nationally recognized Co-Starters program is coming to Pacific City to help turn those dreams into reality.
The 10-week Co-Starters workshop series begins January 14, 2025, and will be held on Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. in the banquet room at Pelican Brewing in Pacific City. This hands-on program provides participants with insights, tools, and feedback to develop their ideas into actionable business plans, all within a supportive group setting.

“We launched our first Co-Starters program in January 2023 in Tillamook, and the creativity of the participants was inspiring,” said Nan Devlin, executive director of the Tillamook Coast Visitors Association. “Ideas ranged from a micro-greens farm and labyrinth spaces at health centers to an indoor soccer club, event management services, and more.”
Co-Starters is ideal for anyone with a business idea or an existing business looking to grow. Participants will benefit from collaborative learning, expert facilitation, and a structured approach to developing their entrepreneurial vision.
Interested individuals are encouraged to act quickly, as space is limited to 10 participants.
