I know you’ve all been waiting for the perfect one, and here I am! They call me Persephone after the Greek goddess of spring. Pho for short. In my earliest pictures, I looked kinda pink, but I finally decided on being a very, very pale grey, and I must say, it really suits me. I’m a sweet, slightly shy kitten who has the very reasonable expectation that a lap be made available to me at all times, that I be carried around and called “tiny kitten,” and that I get to sleep with a human at night. My fur is as soft as a bunny, my eyes are huge, and I have dainty paws. But don’t get complacent. Persephone wasn’t just the maiden of flowers. I never learned to meow. Instead, I make a yipping sound like a little chihuahua when I want your attention. I kinda squeak when I’m talking, or I shriek like a pint-sized banshee when I don’t know where my brother Panzer is. I’m the only kitten that my foster mom ever had that will be listed as “bonded.” I will need to go to a home with my brother. (But what sort of person wouldn’t want both of us?)
