Two years in the making “Lane’s Greenwitch Tarot” is now available for purchase. The artwork is all by Lane deMoll of Nehalem.
A few of the paintings and drawings from the deck will be displayed at Manzanita News and Espresso throughout the month of January. Lane will be on site this Friday January 5 from noon – 5 pm to sell decks and sign guidebooks.
The 78 card deck is in the traditional tarot format with Major and Minor Arcana. Some creative license has been taken with the names of some cards, as is common these days. The deck, box and guidebook as well as her new website were designed by Liam Wolf and Morgan Magras.
“Doing the paintings over many years was part of my on-going spiritual discovery process and now I get to share that journey with other seekers in the form of this deck,” says deMoll. “It was an exciting challenge to fit existing paintings into the tarot system. The deck comes with a Guidebook to help folks understand how to use it and to give my short interpretations of these divination cards. Yet there is always plenty of room for personal revelations within the images.”
Lane has been using tarot decks since buying her first in 1995. She does 3 card readings during the summer months at the Manzanita Farmers Market and does longer readings by appointment. “It’ll be fun doing readings now with my own deck!”
Decks are $55 plus $5 shipping for out-of-town. They can be ordered through her website: lanedemoll.com and will soon available be in local and regional stores, in addition to Manzanita News and Espresso.
