Riverbend Players performed a virtual show, “It’s A Wonderful Life”, a live radio play adapted by Joe Landry as a fundraiser. It was co-sponsored by Fulcrum Community Resources. There was no charge for admission, however, voluntary donations were requested. One hundred percent of all the proceeds will go to Covid-19 North County Business Relief.
The virtual performance was a great success. The two performances had a combined total of 101 viewing email addresses logged on, which translates to an estimate of 150 to 200 viewers. As a result of viewers generosity, Riverbend Players raised $7,268.45 for the co-sponsor, Fulcrum Community Resources. There is still time to donate, go to http://exploremanzanita.com/donate/
Jeff Slamal, President of Riverbend Players, “I want to send out a special thank you to the cast, crew, board members, our Director Tom Cocklin, and the people of Fulcrum. Your hard work and dedication to this project is what made it happen.”
Riverbend Players wish everyone happy holidays, Happy New Year and a “Wonderful Life”!
