Nestucca, Neskowin, and Sand Lake Watersheds Council (NNSLWC), Pelican Brewing Company, and Hebo Stewardship Group are hosting a Science Pub event, “Trees, Water and Family,” on Tuesday, March 7 at 6 pm. Presented by Dave Wells of Oregon Natural Forestry at Pelican Brewing in Pacific City.
Wells holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of Washington. After graduation, he moved to Tillamook County in 1978 and began his work for the Oregon Department of Forestry. Currently, he is teaching credit and community education classes at Tillamook Bay Community College and is helping non-industrial private forest landowners through his business, Oregon Natural Forestry.
The event is free and open to the public. Beverages and food will be available for purchase at Pelican Brewing Company.
