POLAR PLUNGE 2025 – NEAH-KAH-NIE BEACH
IF YOU NEVER HAVE YOU SHOULD, THESE THINGS ARE FUN AND FUN IS GOOD!
THINGS TO KNOW
NEW YEARS DAY 2025
10:30 start to gather and get nervous.
11:00 PPPPPLUNGE! but sometimes we have to wait for a few folks!
Neahkahnie Beach just north of the intersection of Reed Rd and Nehalem Rd, look for the fire.
Costumes are getting popular and very in!
All ages and species are welcome and encouraged!
Why??? For NO reason, NO cause or NO explanation except: This is a FUN Raiser!
Reward: A very large smile!
MORE INFORMATION and TRADITION:
Photos are very very important, if you don’t get a photo, it didn’t happen!
We stripe down to our PLUNGING outfit, we gather together for photos and long enough that all the exciting energy reaches an explosive level, then together we run like the crazies that we are into the waiting Pacific Ocean, and then get the heck out of there!
EVEN MORE INFORMATION AND SUGGESTIONS:
If you have a person that is about the same age as your shoe size or less – HOLD THEIR HAND!
If you see anyone that could use a hand hold then go ahead, we are in this together. LETS WATCH OUT FOR EACH OTHER!
Another piece of advice that we like to strongly offer: No one stays out in the water more than 120 seconds.
That’s about it, dress warm and hang out by the fire and high five, hug and laugh!
Caveat: Janice (the crazy person who thought this was a good idea many years ago), is NOT RESPONSIBLE for your safety during, before or after the Polar Plunge, but we do care about you!
