Stella McDonald passed away surrounded by family at home on October 28, 2023 at the age of 96. She was born to George and Ona Fry in Nugent, TX on July 1, 1927. The family of 8 migrated west coming to Cannon Beach then settling in Seaside.
She supported the war effort working at the Tillamook Blimp Base.
On November 1st 1952 she married Jack McDonald. They enjoyed 52 years of marriage. They raised their family of 5 children on their dairy farm up the Miami.
She is survived by her brother, John Fry of Klamath Falls, her 4 children Jan (Dennis) Welch, Mel McDonald, Julie (Steve) Pieren, June McDonald and her fiancée Jeff Reed, 8 grand children, 12 great grandchildren and soon to be 13, her lucky number. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack and daughter Sue.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday November 4th at Wauds Funeral Home in Tillamook.
