The Centennial Activities on the 5th will kick off at noon with a ribbon cutting for the new beach access. Rumor has it that a few local officials will be in attendance.
At 12:30 the green space will host the Centennial Ceremony, starting with a Land Acknowledgement and storytelling with two Native American Elders, one a descendent of the Tillamooks from Grande Ronde, and the other from a Northern California tribe.
At 1:30 we will have a tribute to the Rosenbergs (about a dozen of the descendants will be in attendance) followed by birthday cake and ice cream, and a showcase of the last 100 years of American Folk Music.
