Erin Skaar, County Commissioner Position 1, announces her campaign kick-off with three events in March. Erin registered her intent to run for re-election earlier this year and is now kicking off her campaign with events in each region of the county. Please come to these events to meet her if you haven’t, or to say hello and show your support if you already know her.
Events will take place on March 14th at NCRD in Nehalem from 4:30 to 6, on March 18th at Kiawanda Community Center in Pacific City from 4-6, and on March 22nd at Pacific Restaurant in Tillamook from 5-7. Please feel free to attend any or all of the events! There will of course be more opportunities to visit with Erin throughout the campaign if you miss all of these.
Tillamook County has weathered a lot in the past four years. Throughout that time, Erin Skaar has been a capable and effective leader, helping us come out the other side stronger and prepared for a better future. Her long record of public service has served us well in overcoming these difficult times and is just the experience we need right now at the County Commission. Erin understands what is possible within the control of County Commissioners, where our most effective role is advocacting at the state and federal levels, and how to get the most impact out of our efforts.
Erin’s priorities continue to be ending our housing shortage, addressing homelessness and addiction, using tax dollars wisely and supporting good jobs in all industries.
