The Rinehart Clinic is pleased to welcome Gail Nelson as its new Chief Executive Officer. Gail will join the team in late January. An extensive search for a new CEO had been under way since late summer. The previous CEO, Marge Jozsa, resigned in October ahead of her scheduled 2018 year-end retirement.
Ms. Nelson has a background in rural healthcare and with federally-qualified health centers. For the past five years, she has served as Associate Director of Chambers Community Health Centers, Inc. in Anahuac, Texas.
Gail places an emphasis on recruitment and retention of qualified staff. She also has a strong focus on monitoring and improving quality, patient-centered primary care, and she believes firmly in collaboration–both among clinic staff and with community partners.
Ms. Nelson received her Masters of Health Administration, as well as a Bachelor of Health Administration, from Texas State University-San Marcos. She also attended the UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Health Care Executive Program and is board certified in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Please join Rinehart Clinic in extending Gail a warm welcome. A public reception will be planned in the coming weeks to introduce her to the clinic’s community partners and to the North Tillamook County community.
