To the Editor,
Our ballots have arrived. Here in Rockaway Beach the choices could not be any clearer.
Rockaway Beach has seen amazing progress these last couple of years, with a new era of fiscal health, openness, transparency and ethics. Improvements to the City are evident all around town, a new park, new amenities for visitors, community engagement, efforts to safeguard our water supply, and the best City Manager and City Staff on the Oregon Coast.
All of this progress is the result of hard work by our dedicated public servants, our Mayor and City Council.
While another group running to oust our Mayor and City Council would turn back the clock, voters should not be fooled by their special interests, hidden agendas, and personal vendettas.
Fortunately Rockaway Beach voters can choose continued progress, transparency, integrity and ethical behavior. So much has been accomplished and there is still more to come. Choose those who will continue to work hard for a more livable and prosperous Rockaway Beach.

Alesia Franken; a straight shooter, a passionate protector of our water, pragmatic, ethical, committed to openness, honesty and integrity.
Kiley Konruff; brings fresh ideas for prosperity for all, family and community focused. Smart, well versed with deep ties to Rockaway Beach.
Tom Martine; decades of experience working with emergency services, a steadfast and modest no-nonsense leader.
Penny Cheek; a warrior for seniors, civic volunteer, public servant.
Mary McGinnis; a retired history and civics teacher with a wealth of knowledge on the functions of government. Longstanding public servant and volunteer.
We are blessed here in Rockaway to have such fine leadership. Vote for Charles, Alesia, Kiley, Tom, Penny and Mary!
