Want to add a few lights to your home this year? You might be out of luck. A search for lights yielded limited selections at most local stores. There are competitions – in North County – Calling all Manzanita, Nehalem and Wheeler homeowners, it’s time to shine a light on your Christmas spirit! 2020 has often made it difficult to get in a festive mood and many of us are looking for some way to cheer up right about now.
To help combat the 2020 blahs, The Manzanita Visitors Center is excited to announce our first Manzanita Christmas Light Contest! Drag out your best and brightest Christmas decorations from your attics and garages and create a fun holiday house or lawn display. Take photos or videos of your creation and send them to info@exploremanzanita.com and we’ll share them on our Facebook page.
We’ll have TWO winners. The entry with the most ‘likes’ wins a $50 gift certificate from Manzanita Grocery & Deli. Second place gets a $40 gift certificate from Neah Kah Nie Bistro.
Start untying those knotted strings of lights and help your neighborhood get in the Christmas spirit! Contest runs through December 18.
