We have so much fun at this parade! The music (thank, Rick!), the people, the parade participants (check out the pirate ship – it was impressive.)
Rockaway Beach knows how to do the 4th of July! Don Backman, the Pioneer’s photographer, focused on the kids this year and that certainly brings out the true meaning of enjoying a parade.
From the parade to the Firecracker Wiener Nationals to the Lions Club events on the beach – wrap it all up with an outstanding fireworks display and it’s easy to see why for so many, for generations, Rockaway Beach is THE place to spend the 4th of July.
