Simply Charming starts off the holiday fun this weekend with their annual children’s Christmas Celebration with gifts, special shopping area, Santa and more on Saturday December 14th from 11:30 am to 4 pm.
While Santa’s Reindeer are taking a little rest at a local farm, Rockaway Beach Fire & Rescue will be chauffeuring Santa to the Rockaway Beach Fire Station, Saturday December 14th at 6pm.
There will be a light parade to escort Santa to the Station in style. Decorate your vehicle and meet at the Manhattan Beach Parking lot (off 101 and Beach at Nedonna) for staging at 5pm. Parade leaves at 5:30pm for the trip into town to bring Santa to the Station.
All families are welcome to come enjoy an evening with Santa with cookies and fun for everyone!
Simply Charming’s Annual Children’s Christmas Celebration Promises Fun! Fun! Fun!
Kim Tackett, owner of Simply Charming in Rockaway Beach, will probably give me a swift kick (in the you know where) for putting a spotlight on her but it is worth it!
She has always been a behind the scenes, take no credit, kind of person. The type of person whose Christmas Spirit glows and flows all year long. However, in December she kicks it into 4 wheel drive! Always outdoing the previous year!
The Annual Children’s Christmas Celebration will be Saturday December 14th, 11:30am to 3pm at Simply Charming, 130 North Hwy 101, Rockaway Beach, OR.
Santa arrives at noon with gifts for the first 100 kids age 12 and under.
The Children’s General Store for ages 12 and under will be open, to do their own Christmas shopping with items from 10 cents to $1.
They will be a drawing for one boys bike and one girls bike for 12 and under along with a door prize drawings for the adults.
There will be activities for the whole family to enjoy.
. Rockaway Beach’s own ukulele group, The Salty Strings will also be adding to the Christmas Cheer!
So come on down enjoy free cookies, hot cocoa or coffee and fun!
