While it may seem premature to start planning for the Christmas holidays in October/November, it is the ideal time. Many families and seniors struggle with financial insecurities during the holiday season, and stress can become overwhelming for many individuals. We are dedicated to taking every possible measure to alleviate that stress and make the holiday season as enjoyable as possible.
The Tillamook Ecumenical Community is organizing its annual Christmas Food Basket Program. By preparing for this event now, our volunteers and providers will have sufficient time to shop for holiday meals and gifts for those in need.
Starting October 23, 2023, if you live in Oceanside, Netarts, or Tillamook, we encourage you to apply for the Christmas Food Basket. The applications will be available at the CARE office located at 2310 1st St., Tillamook.
Once completed, the application must be returned to CARE, INC. office by November 13, 2023.
Are you interested in sponsoring one of the families? Our Christmas giving program depends on the generosity of sponsors and donors. If you would like to provide a Christmas basket for a family or a senior in need this holiday season, please get in touch with Shirley at 503-842-6192. You can mail your donation to TEC St. Albans Episcopal, 2102 6 St, Tillamook, OR 97141. We welcome cash donations and are excited to partner with you.
