Bruce Lovelin has my vote for County Commissioner for the following reasons: His 10 years’ experience on the Planning Commission gives him a strong background for this job. He will be able to jump in and work effectively from day one. He has a solid business sense and a vision for a vibrant economy which appreciates the value that all citizens and all taxpayers bring to the big picture. In funding his own campaign, he is not beholden to any special interest group. He has practical approaches for encouraging construction of work force housing; approaches which include proactive and collaborative assistance for builders and developers seeking to build workforce and affordable housing. He is committed to protection of private property rights, respecting the long standing uses many families have traditionally relied upon. He listens to reason and is respectful of dissenting opinions. He seems to believe that citizens and taxpayers deserve an actual voice in how the county is run. He is a good citizen and has freely given of his time and resources for the betterment of the community, from volunteerism to funding of needed projects. Please join me in voting for Bruce Lovelin.
