To the Editor:
The Nehalem Bay Health District is an essential part of our community, and Marc Johnson has served on the Board with skill and leadership for six years. He’s up for reelection this year, and I offer my support.
In the last six years, the district has made changes that help create the vision, funding, collaboration, and networking needed to make lasting improvements. Marc’s been instrumental in obtaining much-needed money for the district — $3 million in federal funding by working with Senators Merkely and Widen.
I’ve known Marc for a few years and find him thoughtful and committed. He’s deeply involved in the community. I’m grateful he’s willing to continue his participation and leadership for another term.
