Tillamook’s 3rd Annual National Night Out event was held on August 6, 2024, at Goodspeed Park, on a sunny, breezy summer evening. This community-building event was hosted by the Tillamook City Police Department.
Kids and adults enjoyed live music provided by Mercury Coast, along with festivities such as a bouncy house and games for the kids, Dunk a Cop, and delicious food provided by Twins Ranch. Various community organizations tabled at the event to provide resources and fun giveaways and activities, even face painting! There were bubbles in the air and lots of smiles.
The annual event is aimed at fostering police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, and was very successful, according to Chief Troxel, who estimates that around 200 people were in attendance.
