The Tillamook Creamery has no shortage of history and experiences for guests. From the Viewing Gallery, which provides a behind-the-scenes look at the Tillamook cheese factory, to the wall of memorabilia honoring Tillamook’s past and celebrating the values and beliefs founded in 1909, there’s lot to see and a lot to learn. As a farmer-owned cooperative that has been around for 114 years, sharing Tillamook’s history with guest and inviting them to our ‘home’ helps them understand our heritage and have a deeper connection to the brand. To get a taste of what Tillamook has to offer for visitors near and far, here’s a rundown of the fun and interactive experiences offered at the Creamery today.
Tillamook Taste Bud: Ice Cream Experience
Want to know the secrets behind our rich and creamy Tillamook Ice Cream? The Creamery offers a private, small-group ice cream experience, where visitors can learn how Tillamook ice cream goes from milk to market and how we develop our flavors. Guest can help test and taste an ice cream flavor as an honorary member of our sensory team alongside one of our Creamery Experts. It’s quite the creamy experience, and to top it all off, everyone walks away from the experience with insider ice cream smarts and Tillamook swag.
Tour + Tasting
For all the cheese lovers out there, the Creamery’s latest guest experience offered is called the Tour + Tasting. On this private, guided tour, a Tillamook Brand Ambassador gives guests the low down on how Tillamook’s high-quality milk is made into award-winning cheese, as well as share the rich history that has helped grow the cooperative into a national brand. No Tillamook experience would be complete without a taste of our products, so each tour ends with a flight of Tillamook’s specialty cheese.
North Pole Experience
The premium experiences don’t stop there. For the holiday season, we are offering visitors the chance to take photos with Santa, craft with the Grinch and enjoy a gourmet hot cocoa and apple cider station. To top if all off, guests will experience a Tillamook Limited Edition Holiday ice cream cutting demo and sampling. The experience is only offered December 9 and 10.
