Exclusion day is coming up for immunizations, to help with that Tillamook County Community Health Centers are hosting a walk-in vaccine clinic Sunday February 18th from Noon to 4pm at the main clinic located at 801 Pacific Avenue in Tillamook. No appointments are needed, and bilingual staff will be available! All childhood and most adult vaccines will be offered. Vaccines are a covered benefit for many health insurance plans, and no one will be turned away for inability to pay.
The Oregon Immunization Exclusion date is February 21, 2024. All children in Oregon’s public and private schools, preschools, Head Start and certified childcare facilities must be up-to-date on their required immunizations or have an exemption by Feb. 21, School Exclusion Day. Children who are not up-to-date or do not have a valid exemption by Feb. 21, will be sent home from school.
