On January 1st, 2025, Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office Detectives responded to a report of Child Sex Abuse. The juvenile victim required immediate medical care. Detectives were able to identify and locate the suspect, Jeremy Richard Davidson, 46, of Pacific City.
“We felt we needed to move fast with this investigation to preserve evidence,” said Detective Kris Wood, lead investigator. “Thankfully we had Deputies to secure the house until the following morning so Detectives could conduct a thorough investigation.”
Working expeditiously through the night and into the early morning, TCSO Detectives obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s home. That search revealed evidence of the crime.
Jeremy Richard Davidson was arrested on charges of Rape I, Rape III, Coercion, Assault IV, and furnishing alcohol to a minor. Rape I is a Measure 11 crime and comes with severe prison time if convicted. On January 8th, 2025, the case was brought before a Grand Jury panel, and Jeremy Davidson was indicted on all charges.
