On behalf of the Tillamook Education Foundation we want to invite you to this year’s Legacy Dinner. This is the sole annual fundraiser for the foundation. We were unable to hold this event last year. Monies raised will be used to fund teacher grants (projects in the past have included classroom libraries, telescopes, art supplies, varied classroom seating, and more) as well as to support future activities of the foundation including scholarships and student projects.
This year’s event will offer takeout meals from La Mexicana, Pacific, or Werners Beef & Brew. Meals will be $75 and include:
**Pacific – Surf and Turf Dinner – Spinach Berry Salad, Dungeness Crab Cakes, Pan Roasted Pork Tenderloin, Shrimp Scampi, Blueberry Cheesecake (Takeout only – $75 per meal)
**Werners – Ribeye Steak Dinner, 2 Delicious Sides, Choice of Wine or Beer (Dine in and Takeout available – $75 per meal)
**La Mexicana – Fajita Family Meal – Choice of Steak, Chicken, or Shrimp, Choice of Flour or Corn Tortilla, Spanish Rice, Refried Beans, Sour Cream, Guacamole, Chips and Salsa, Two Cadillac Margaritas (Takeout only -$75 for dinner for 2)

Tillamook Education Foundation Mission
Tillamook Education Foundation exists to generate excitement and hope about education, and to provide an opportunity for citizens to give their gifts of time, talents, and treasures for the purpose of enhancing and expanding educational opportunities for school-age children.
What Does The Foundation Do?
The Tillamook Education is a non-profit organization that exists to attract and focus resources on Tillamook School District educational programs. The Foundation supports Tillamook educators and community members to obtain, manage and distribute funds for grants, scholarships, and special projects that align with the Foundation’s mission of enhancing and expanding educational opportunities for school-age children.
What Is The Legacy Dinner?
The Legacy Ball Dinner is an annual event that celebrates education, and raises funds for the Tillamook Education Foundation. Revenues are generated from sponsorships, ticket sales and activities at the event. This year, the event will offer a takeout option from one of three local restaurants. The evening of the event a short virtual presentation will be held. This will include presentation of sponsors and success stories from past grant awards.
How Will Funds Raised Be Used?
Monies raised at this event will be used to fund teacher grants as well as to support future activities of the foundation including scholarships and student projects. Teacher grants support items that cannot be purchased by the district’s general fund due to limited budgets. Examples have included classroom libraries, telescopes, art supplies, varied classroom seating, and more.
When Will The Event Be Held?
- May 1, 2021
- Meals can be picked up from restaurant of choice between 4:30pm and 6:30pm
- The live event will be held at 7:00pm via Zoom
