On January 23, 2020 at approximately 3:00 PM, the Tillamook Narcotics Team (TNT) detectives, along with Tillamook County Sheriff Patrol Deputies and Tillamook City Police Patrol Officers, served a search warrant at 512 Cedar Ave Unit #8 in Tillamook, Oregon. Detectives contacted 2 subjects at the location.
During the search, methamphetamine, some evidence of drug sales, prohibited weapons and some firearms, including 3 stolen firearms from Tillamook PD cases and 1 with an obliterated serial number. There was also evidence of possible gang affiliation.
The following individuals were arrested and lodged at the Tillamook County Jail:
Omar N. Ayala Sanchez (26) of Tillamook OR – Possession of methamphetamine, Felon in possession of a firearm (X7), Possession of stolen firearm (X3) possession of firearm with obliterated serial number, felon in possession of prohibited weapons (daggers), and frequenting a place where drugs used /sold.
Shawn M. Mitchell (26) of Tillamook OR – Frequenting a place where drugs are used / sold and a parole violation.
