Public education is one of the foundations of a democracy. Every young person should be taught the skills to meet our world’s challenges. Our children, regardless of religion, race or socioeconomic background must all be equipped to understand and succeed in today’s world. I believe that our district employees under the able leadership of Curt Shelley and guidance of our school board have worked to that end, and have balanced our students’ health and education in this most difficult of times. I encourage you to re-elect these dedicated incumbent school board members: LaDonna Coon, Eva Manderson and Detective Nick Troxel, because they have served our community by putting our children first.
