As we look forward to this next New Year
Let’s begin with dreams of prosperity and peace without fear
May the Beasts of greed, hatefulness and instability
Be slain by the sword of honesty and civility.
Let the River of violence run dry from inactivity
To be replaced by currents of peace and livability
May the shadows of Alzheimer’s, Cancer and diseases of this kind
Turn to beacons of triumph for cures, that doctors shall find.
Let the gaiety and laughter of children be heard throughout the world
Bringing tranquility to mankind as HIS PRECIOUS Word has been told!
