CARE Inc. is pleased to share that the Tillamook Warming Center will be open tonight, 12/22/22. The center is located at the First Christian Church at 2203 4th Street in Tillamook. The open hours are from 8pm to 7am. Please post this opening and share with anyone you know that could benefit from a safe place to stay tonight.

CARE is opening the Winter Warming Center for the winter season, and WE NEED YOUR HELP❗️❄️
1. We need Volunteers ⛄️: Adults 18+ with a clean background check who are willing to work a 4 hour evening/overnight shift. This is on-call for when the Warming Center is activated. Please reach out to warmingcenter@careinc.org or call 503-842-5261 to apply and get set up with an orientation.
2. We need Donations☕️: Non-perishable snacks/drinks (Coffee, tea, hot cocoa, etc.), Instant Meals (Noodle cups, Ramen, Oatmeal, etc.), and NEW coats, gloves, hats, boots, handwarmers. CARE is sadly not able to accepted used clothing items. Donations can be dropped off at the CARE office at 2310 First St. in Tillamook
This year CARE will be returning to a congregate shelter model in partnership with the First Christian Church in downtown Tillamook. The Warming Center is activated based on the following criteria:
1. Temperatures are predicted to drop below 32 degrees before midnight 🥶
2. Winter, Flood, and/or High Wind WARNING. 🌬
CARE notifies the community of a Warming Center activation here on Facebook 👩💻, signs around the City of TIllamook ✅, and by email 📧. To be added to the email list please email warmingcenter@careinc.org.
