We are voting YES on the Health District $10.25 million bond measure. There is an increasing aging population in Tillamook County with limited health care options. Approval of this bond measure will fund the creation of more health care options and needed upgrades to existing healthcare facilities.
The existing health center and pharmacy and Nehalem Valley Care Center are in 40-year old facilities. The Care Center needs modernization to improve care quality and safety. The existing clinic has no room to expand. An expansion could create space for dental care.
Our area lost two senior care facilities in the last year, making the Care Center’s modernization even more critical to this area.
A YES vote will create better health care for our area. Please vote YES.
